Let's compare two Awards in India. One is Filmfare and other is Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award.

Gully Boy won 13 awards in 65th Filmfare Awards.

Best actor award was given to Ranvir Singh where Hrithik Roshan did a great job in Super 30.

Surprisingly Apna Time Aayega won the best lyrics awards wherein Teri Mitti from Kesari was completely ignored.

On the other hand Super 30 and Hrithik Roshan won Best Film and Best Actor Award in Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award 2020.

Over the period Filmfare has started losing its credibility and making people think that these are paid awards.

Analysis : It was so so surprised what we came across. The biggest commercial success that year was Coolie. Amitabh Bachchan not even nominated for an award. Infact, no popular award given to any of the biggest commercial successes that year. Hell, they were not even nominated except for Betaab. !!
